LES ENFANTS DU MONDE BACK YARD:
Taking the Next Step in Public Consultation Process
Action Communiterre is proud to present the next stage of the public consultation for the land belonging to the school, Les Enfants du Monde, on Rosedale Avenue, just south of Côte-Saint-Luc Road. After gathering ideas from local community members and gaining an understanding of interesting activites for groups in the area, different elements were brought together to create six land-use plan options. The local public is now invited to visit the blog site: http://publiccommentary.blogspot.com view the plans, and comment on them.
The site will only be open for one month, until December 14th, so get involved today by visiting the site and giving us your feedback on the plans: how they're put together, the individual components, as well as questions, concerns or comments you may have.
The final plan should be comprised of elements that all ages (especially the children attending the next door school, but also the older residents of the area), genders, and backgrounds can use and enjoy. The final plan should therefore be one that will more closely knit the diverse community of the area by inviting shared activities in this communal space.
As the plans evolve through consultation with the school, Les Enfants du Monde, and the community members, the blog-site and this site will be kept up to date with all changes.
